Our next meeting of the UCMFSG is on Sep 24, 2026 @ 6PM at the VFW bldg located in Memorial Park Marysville (next to the swimming pool).
We have several guest speakers including getting an update on our Guard unit after their recent return from deployment. We'll also have the new Executive Director of the Union County Veterans Service Office AND a representative from Blue Star Mothers who will tell us about an upcoming project designed to honor local heroes.
AND - WE WILL BE HOLDING A DRAWING AT THE END OF THE MEETING FOR A FREE $50 TEXAS ROADHOUSE CARD!! EVERYONE ATTENDING WILL BE ENTERED!!

Welcome to the Union County Military Family Support Group.
Based out of Union County, Ohio, the UCMFSG supports area veterans as well as currently serving members in the active and reserve. It was established in 2003 at the request of Maj Gen (ret) Oscar Decker, a long-time resident of Union County. Based on his experience with area veterans, Gen Decker saw a need for a more flexible support organization, particularly for those serving since 9/11/2001. The area Veterans Service Office provides most services for local veterans but are often challenged by funding or time constraints. The UCMFSG can, and has, stepped in numerous times to aid a veteran or their family in need without having to negotiate government red tape. Additionally, The UCMFSG  supports the two very active Army National Guard units  stationed in Marysville, OH as they deploy to various spots around the globe. 
Finally, the UCMFSG strives to provide for those family members left behind with outings, get-togethers, and needed assistance.
