Educational Assistance Fund

Grant Winners!

 

In 2017, the UCMFSG, with the help of many local agencies including the Disabled American Vets (DAV) and Marysville Knights of Columbus, established an Educational Assistance Fund for the purpose of assisting veterans, active duty and reserve, retirees, and their families with the high costs of education and training. This year, three students from Fairbanks High School each received a $1,000 grant.

We also awarded $2,500 scholarships to four outstanding students from the General Decker Scholarship Fund.

Beginning in 2026, we are raising our grants and scholarships to $1,500 for each Educational Assistance Fund winner and $3,000 for each individual General Decker Scholarship grant.
