Throughout the year, the UCMFSG supports the local community through "care packages", educational assistance, and social events. Come join us and help show our military members that we haven't forgotten them.

Green Army Guy Green Army Guy brought a lot of laughs and smiles to the Star Spangled Military Salute. Decker.
D.A.V. Chapter 55 The Disabled American Veterans Union County, Chapter 55 donated $1000.00 for the Educational Assistance Fund. The donation was presented by the Chaper Commander, Larry Morey.	Legion Post 248 Ken Bonnell, chairman of the UCMFSG, presents an appreciation award to the Plain City American Legion Post 248 for their many years of support to our organization. Accepting the award from left to right are Bernie Vance and John Dellinger.	Women of the Moose step up The Women Of The Moose, Chapter # 1772, Marysville, Ohio donated $700.00 to the Union County Military Family Support Group at the November 2015 packing of boxes. The funds were acquired from a fund raiser. The Moose of Marysville has been a contributor to the Union County Military Family Support Group since its inception in 2003. 2015 Grant Awardees In our first year of awarding educational grants, 7 individuals received grants ranging from $500 to $1000 to assist in their schooling. Congratulations!	2017 Grant Awardees	Union County Fair 2015 Annual booth for the UCMFSG. Stop in next year and see what we have going on!
Richwood Fair We're at the Richwood Fair every year. Come say "Hello!"	MSG Kevin Taylor Promotion UCMFSG Chairman Ken Bonnell presents MSG Kevin Taylor with an award at his promotion ceremony. At left is Maj Gen (ret) Oscar Decker - founding member of the UCMFSG.	Packing For The Troops Several times each year, the UCMFSG sends 'Care Packages' to all active members from Union County.
Packing Some Love For Dad Kristi Jones, wife of Master Sergeant Joseph Jones who is currently deployed serving on the USS Kearsarge, brought their children to pack their dad's care package. Recognition for Jason Gibson SSG Jason Gibson is presented a certificate from Ray Yonkura, Chief of Staff for U.S. Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH). SSG Gibson had recently returned from a trip to Washington, D.C., where he was a guest of honor of President Obama at his State of the Union address. Mitchell's Berries Hand-picking strawberries and ice cream sundaes made for a fun and refreshing afternoon. Thanks to Mitchell's Berries for hosting us!	Christmas Party Annual Christmas party for the Reserve/National Guard units based in Marysville, Ohio.
